The Gran Paradiso with Midsomer Norton Sixth Forms
The end of July saw me with the sixth formers and staff of Norton Hill and Somervale schools. The Gran Paradiso wasn’t an area we had used before but it proved to be one of the best and certainly one to use again. It was perfect for the D of E Gold Expedition and went through some challenging but stunning scenery with lots of wildlife. The huts were very welcoming and we had the first ever experience of a live rock band at the Rifugio Victoria Sella.
Before and after the expedition the area was perfect for mountain biking, white water rafting, climbing and via ferrata. the weather played its part in a fantastic trip
Making a travel video is a great way to re-live memories and share your trip with others! Whether your video is made in collaboration with a sponsor or simply for your own enjoyment, you’ll likely want the best quality possible. To make a good travel video, you’ll need to first plan out your trip beforehand and pack light. While you’re filming and editing, you should focus on creating a narrative, avoid shaking the camera, and put it all together with an editing software. When the video is done you can share it in social media platforms such as youtube or Tik Tok and buy likes on tiktok to get more engagement in your views and credibility in your account.
Creating a travel video doesn’t need to be difficult. It can be a fun memento of a great road trip, an enjoyable spa day in your backyard or an afternoon zip-lining. While many of the travel videos you see on YouTube may lead you to believe that you need to live abroad or expensive equipment to get started, that’s simply not the case–everyone starts somewhere, the hardest part is simply starting. Amidst the current pandemic, your previous summer travel plans may have been put on hold, but that doesn’t have to stop you. There are plenty of opportunities to tell amazing stories from home.
